SO YOU ALSO UPDATED TO iOS 15 ACCIDENTALLY AND NOW YOU WISH YOU COULD GO BACK TO iOS 14 OR GET A JAILBREAK FOR iOS 15? DON'T WORRY YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
There are a lot of people out there who are on iOS 15 waiting for a jailbreak. in the first days of October, it was possible to go back to iOS 14 using iTunes or any 3rd party software which can be used to restore the IPSW file on your iPhone/iPad. But then Apple ended every way to go back to iOS 14 as they unsigned iOS 14.8.
So, there are a lot of people whose device accidentally updated to iOS 15 as they had automatic updates turned on. As there is no way to go back to iOS 14 now, so everyone is looking forward to iOS 15 jailbreak to be announced soon.
There are three main jailbreaks operated at the moment: Chekra1n, Unc0ver and Taurine. In this post I will tell you about each one of them and when would you be expecting these jailbreaks to support iOS 15.
CHECKRA1N:
Checkra1n is a semi-tethered jailbreak and it support A7 to A11 Chip, which means it supports iPhone 5s to iPhone X. Every device released in between these devices (including these devices) are supported but no other devices are supported which means iPhone 5 or lower and iPhone Xs and higher are not supported.
You can find more info about checkra1n on this page: CHECKRA1N
Checkra1n is based on checkm8 bootrom exploit and can jailbreak even iOS 14.8 as of now. Checkra1n's team mostly stays quiet and doesn't post much. Last time they posted on their twitter account was on May 11th when they released checkra1n version 0.12.4 which added fix for A9X on iOS 14.5 and above.
As of now, we haven't heard from Checkra1n's official account and any related developer about iOS 15 Jailbreak. Last year, they didn't announce the iOS 14 support until the official version was out even though they were able to run checkra1n on the iOS 14 betas as well. But now, its been almost 3 weeks since iOS 15 has been announced officially but still there is no news about the iOS 15 support.
Even after one year, checkra1n team haven't been able to add support for A11 devices without disabling passcode/Face ID. Now, we are looking forward to the support of iOS 15 and hopefully it will also add support for A11 without disabling FaceID/Passcode.

Unc0ver:
Unc0ver is a semi-untethered jailbreak and can jailbreak any iOS version from iOS 11.0 to iOS 14.3 at the moment. There is a jailbreak expected or iOS 14.5.1 and lower which will be released in the third week of October but as of now we have no news whether it will add support for Taurine or Unc0ver. There is also another Jaibreak expected for iOS 14.6 and lower, and same like the one mentioned before, there is no news that which jailbreak tool will add support for it.
Unc0ver developer Pwn20wnd came with a banger when he added support for iOS 14 as there was no other jailbreak except checkra1n which was supporting iOS 14 at that moment. So, Unc0ver was the first jailbreak which could be used to jailbreak iOS 14 running on A12 and higher (iPhone Xs and newer). The last thing we heard from Unc0ver developer was also about his AppStore app. He hasn't said a word about iOS 15 support for unc0ver yet.
TAURINE:
Taurine is also a semi-untethered jailbreak and can jailbreak any iOS version from iOS 14.0 to iOS 14.3 at the moment. As mentioned before, there is a jailbreak expected or iOS 14.5.1 and lower which will be released in the third week of October but as of now we have no news whether it will add support for Taurine or Unc0ver. There is also another Jaibreak expected for iOS 14.6 and lower, and same like the one mentioned before, there is no news that which jailbreak tool will add support for it.
Taurine is a very stable jailbreak. Taurine used Sileo which is a modern package manager. Taurine developer Cool Star has said multiple times not to update to iOS 15 because there is a high chance of iOS 13-14.5.1 to be fully untethered soon! iOS 15 is gonna be a hard take for all the developers as it comes with many security updates.
iOS 15 has a trick up its sleeve to make jailbreaking much harder: They made the root file system sealed, so modifying it directly would make your device unbootable. Every jailbreak must now be rootless and not modify OS files.

Also, it's too soon to expect a semi-untethered jailbreak for iOS 15. At this moment, the best you can do is to not update from the lower versions of iOS 15 and WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT!!
